Flight of an Angel - Chapter 1 (Cloud x OC)
She looked up as far as her eyes could see, shuddering as an involuntary shudder slowly found its way from the back of her neck down to the small of her back after finding she couldn't see any farther than maybe the tenth or fifteenth floor. The incredibly tall, incredibly dark building in front of her easily was as intimidating as she had heard about throughout her lifetime, or even seen from afar, never imagining it being this... this... colossal.
She closed her eyes, taking deep breaths to calm her ever-increasing nerves. This is what I've waited for, she told herself. This is what I want. This is what I deserve, more than anything else in the world. I can get everything I've ever dreamed of... All I need to do is move...
She lifted her hand from her side to brace the hilt of the sword in the sheath on her waist, tightening her grip until it almost hurt, as if that itself would fulfill her request for a grant for some sort of stilling comfort. Her nerve
Flight of an Angel - Chapter 2 (Cloud x OC)

Well, now that she thought about it, five-foot-eight wasn't actually very short. It could actually be considered normal, if not beyond that. It was just being around all these tall people were starting to get her down.
Rae, for example, was five-eleven, practically six-foot. And the worst part was she h
Flight of an Angel - Chapter 3 (Cloud x OC)
Angel quickly wiped down the bar counter before Cameron yelled another order at her.
"Hey, Angel, quick, get these drinks to those men in the back left table!" He fussed, motioning to a tray full of drinks, before turning to another customer with a smile when he approached the bar.
"Yes, Sir!" she answered quickly, grabbing the tray and half-ran, half-walked to the table in the back.
Today was busy, a lot busier than it usually is. Most of the customers were obviously from Shinra – their business attire gave them away instantly. But, as Angel approached the back table, she noticed that these men weren't just Shinra workers.
They were SOLDIERS.
Her face lit up. Here were her people! She put on her best face and came up to the table.
"Hi guys!" she started with her normal waitress line, a big smile on her face, "I have here for you guys two Cactuars, one Waltz on the Moon, a Moogle, and a Life Stream." She handed the drinks to the men as she called out the names.
